Filipino Martial Arts – Arnis Tirada System “The Art of the Blade” It is founded in Kuwait 2017.
Arnis was declared as the Philippine National Martial Art and Sport on December 11, 2009 through Republic Act No. 9850 authored by Senator Juan Miguel F. Zubiri and signed into law by Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Guro Antonio “Bong” Estrada Jr. is the founder and chief instructor of Filipino Martial Arts – Arnis Tirada System.
With decades of experience in martial arts, Guro Bong Estrada developed Arnis Tirada as a practical, adaptive, and highly effective system that integrates traditional techniques with modern self-defense principles. The word Tirada, meaning “to strike” or “to execute,” reflects the system’s emphasis on timing, speed, precision, and fluidity in both offensive and defensive movements.
Guro Bong Estrada vision is not only to teach effective martial techniques but also to preserve the values, history, and spirit of Filipino heritage. Through seminars, workshops, and regular training, he continues to share his knowledge with students around the world, building a strong and respectful community of martial artists dedicated to the legacy of Arnis | Kali | Eskrima.
Training starts with weapons until techniques have been sufficiently mastered. Hand to hand combat, joint locks, grappling and weapon disarming techniques applied to the advance level of practitioners.
